day 9 - Post Cleanse
Today is all about tuning into how you feel. After a week of cleansing, your body and mind are in a state of clarity, so use this moment to learn about yourself. In Ayurveda, cravings can be a key to understanding your current state of balance. If you’re craving things that support balance (like wholesome, nourishing foods), that’s a sign that your body is in alignment. If you’re craving things that tend to throw you off balance, like sugary or processed foods, it might be a sign to check in with yourself a bit deeper.
At this point, it’s time to release any attachment to rigid protocols and really tune into what your body is asking for. Cleansing can sometimes create a temporary state of imbalance, which should naturally sort itself out with oil massage and plenty of warm, moist foods. If you’re craving kichari, go for it! If you’re craving coconut milk soup, avocados, nuts, or seeds, enjoy them! Just be mindful of portion sizes and avoid overeating—it’ll smother your Agni.
