day 4 - Main Cleanse

Keep up with sipping your warm water or herbal teas throughout the day.

At this point, you may start feeling like the cleanse is kicking into gear. Some of you might feel super hungry, or you could be experiencing dips in blood sugar. If you’re feeling low energy, try mixing rice or hemp protein with warm lemon water or pomegranate juice during mealtimes. This is only for those of you who are feeling unable to "keep up" and are experiencing these crashes. If you’re very lean, this is a good idea to help keep your energy steady.

If you’re craving stronger flavors, that’s totally normal. The tongue’s hunger can be persistent! Our goal is to reconnect with the true hunger of the stomach. Simplifying your meals will help recalibrate your taste buds, and soon enough, you’ll find simple, natural flavors incredibly satisfying.

Let’s take it up a notch! Now that your food routine is settling in, it’s time for a little digital detox. For the rest of the week, try to avoid screens after 8 PM (unless it’s for work). Instead, indulge in reading something enjoyable, taking a warm bath or shower, or doing some journaling. No screens before 8 AM either—use this time to connect with yourself or read an inspiring book (or listen to an inspiring podcast) on your commute. You might find that you’re naturally ready for bed earlier, which is exactly what your body needs right now.
